had a great weekend of shooting, with pictures to come, but just let me say that the footage so far has exceeded my expectations, and I can’t thank everyone enough for all their help, and for all the last minute help we got.

The short version of the story is that two of the main locations fell through late Thursday night (of a friday and saturday shoot), and then friday the car that was supposed to run over josh wouldn’t start.  Luckily, somebody up there was looking out for me as everything ended up working out, and in most cases, better than i had originally planned, but needless to say it was a stressful couple of hours trying to figure out where to shoot, and thankfully things fell into place.

From there, everyone met up around 7:30 friday at George’s salon, and they started hair and makeup, and we finally got shooting around 9:30.  All friday we shot in and around Ali’s apartment downtown and in the allyways outside, finally wrapping about 4:00.

The next day we met up at Garden diva to shoot the “party” scene.  I knew this was going to be a big scene with lots of people, lots of lights, etc, but thankfully the crew worked really well and fast, and we got everything about when i thought we would, and everyone looked fantastic with their clothes.  by 12 we were on our way back to Ali’s to finish the rest of the band’s scenes, and to get the rest of the actors whose schedules are hard to work around finished shooting.  By 5 we had everything done.  everyone was more than exhausted, but I think the quality of the footage will make up for the couple of long nights.

We’re not quite done, but got a great start, and should be able to take it alot easier for the rest of the shooting.  Can’t wait for everyone to see this!!
